Microneedling treatments stimulate collagen production to exfoliate the skin and even out its texture for a more youthful, radiant appearance. Adding facial acupuncture or body/ear acupuncture can down-regulate the nerves to a calm state, increase blood flow, and improve energy, metabolism, and youthfulness. The microneedling fee is $300 per treatment. Dr. Shasta suggests up to four initial sessions followed by monthly maintenance sessions. Cosmetic acupuncture may be added for $130 per treatment; needles are placed at specific points to increase blood and energy to the face and organ systems that need to be boosted with more nutrients. Also, these treatments help decrease inflammation and the degradation of tissues, thus creating more radiant long-term beauty.”
